Casting

The cast falls roughly into 4 categories:

• SUSTAINED CHARACTERS such as Jesus and Mary.
• IDENTIFIABLE GOSPEL CHARACTERS such as John the Baptist, The Disciples, Pilate, and so on.
• CITIZENS each of who are required to stay 'in character', may have small individual roles and collectively appear in the crowd scenes.
• ROMAN SOLDIERS of the occupying army,  possibly including some cavalry members.

Audio

Volunteer technicians are required to stay with the action throughout the performances. Using a mobile 'control room' and sophisticated wireless microphone equipment, the technicians amplify most of the dialogue as well as providing others audio such as music and pre-recorded material to create and enhance the atmosphere of the show.
