Casting
The cast falls roughly into 4 categories:
  • SUSTAINED CHARACTERS such as Jesus and Mary.
  • IDENTIFIABLE GOSPEL CHARACTERS such as John the Baptist, The Disciples, Pilate, and so on.
  • CITIZENS each of who are required to stay 'in character', may have small individual roles and collectively appear in the crowd scenes.
  • ROMAN SOLDIERS of the occupying army,  possibly including some cavalry members.

 
Crew

Volunteers required to assist in erecting and dismantling props and stage settings. No experience necessary.

Audio
Volunteer technicians are required to stay with the action throughout the performances.
Using a mobile 'control room' and sophisticated wireless microphone equipment, the technicians amplify most of the dialogue as well as providing others audio such as music and pre-recorded material to create and enhance the atmosphere of the show.
